HISTORY Fruit from the vineyard was initially sold to other appreciative winemakers, but increasing quantities of wine have been vinified by David and Barbara on the property under the Temple Bruer label since the late 1970’s. David and Barbara also began a vine nursery, using the property’s fertile soil to produce rootlings for sale to other growers.
Today David Bruer oversees the growing business which employees a total of eight permant staff. All possess a great knowledge and enthusiasm for all fields of Temple Bruer and the organic wine industry.
