The Riverland is the engine room of Australia's wine industry. Its warm continental climate is ideal for the production of high quality Rhone style wines. We see the Riverland as a region for the future of wine style and production.
We purchased our Loxton vineyard in mid 2010. This vineyard consists of eight hectares of vines, the oldest of which, the Grenache and Mataro were planted shortly after World War II with more recent plantings of Sultana and Malaga table grapes and a late 80’s planting of Shiraz.
We are planning on top working two small blocks to Cinsault and White Frontignac during late winter this year. Also planted on the Loxton property is 1.2 hectares of Imperial Mandarins.
This vineyard is currently in pre-certification to organic..
