2005 Cabernet Merlot

Certified Organic Red Wine

This wine was vintaged from Cabernet Sauvignon (61%), Merlot (28%) and Cabernet Franc (11%), grown in the Temple Bruer vineyard, which is certified organic by the Biological Famers of Australia (BFA). Open fermentation, gentle pressing and subsequent maturation for fifteen months in American oak casks have created a medium-bodied wine with abundant fruit characters of mulberries, mint and spice with firm, fine tannins. Try it with full-flavoured lamb or veal dishes, or a good cheese platter.The wine was not cold stabilised and may develop a crust on ageing.
